Guardians of Order has announced the formation of Magnum Opus, a new imprint for creator-owned RPG products developed under license for Guardians' Tri-Stat System.  The new imprint will provide distribution and the underlying game system (either the D6 or D10 Tri-Stat System), while the companies creating works for the imprint will retain creative control and intellectual property rights.   Guardians of Order has produced anime RPGs and fan guides (see 'New Schedule for Anime Fan Guides') in the past, and has announced an upcoming superhero RPG (see 'New Superhero RPG from Guardians of Order').

Three companies have announced products that will be published under the Magnum Opus imprint.  La Mancha Games will produce Fourth Millennium, a 'science fiction techno-thriller' RPG by James Maliszewski and Kevin Brenna, for release in late 2002.

Phile will produce Swords, Hearts, and Flowers:  The Art of Shoujo, a guide to incorporating shoujo elements into RPG campaigns by Genevieve R. Cogman and Alex Williams, for release in late 2002.

Primal Utterings will produce Epoch Restoration, 'a heroic anime science fiction campaign universe,' for release in summer 2003.
