Phoenix Interactive has announced the second expansion for the 4th Edition of Warlord: Saga of the Storm Customizable Card Game licensed from the Alderac Entertainment Group.  Due on April 30th, Warlord: Crimson Coast will consist of three Adventure Path Sets (numbered #10-#12) each containing two complete tournament legal decks.  Each deck includes 10 rare, 18 uncommon, and 27 common cards.  The MSRP for the Adventure Path Sets, which include 110 cards in total, is $31.99.

Phoenix took over the Warlord game from Alderac in 2008 after AEG had been manufacturing the game for over six years (see “Warlord CCG 4th Edition”).  The story in the new expansion continues the saga from the 4E base set and the first expansion (see “Warlord Expansion Planned”).  The land of Thessyria is now ruled by a mysterious otherworldly race known as “The Chosen,” but revolts may be stirring and strange happenings are occurring along Thessyria’s long coastline in this expansion, which explores the Water aspect of the game’s new elemental magic system.
