When earlier this month we reported that Jim Fetty of Gameboard Distributors had denied rumors that Gameboard had an ownership connection to an Orlando retailer (see 'Gameboard Delays Orlando Opening'), it prompted more than one reader to direct us to a public site that reports on Florida corporations.  There we found Kurf Group, Incorporated, a Florida corporation with the same address as Orlando retailer Sci Fi City, which listed Gameboard owners Frank Uchmanowicz and Jim Fetty in its directors and officers section and the Gameboard address in Tennessee as its mailing address.

 

We called Fetty to ask him about this information.  When we told him we'd found his name on the public records of a Florida corporation located at the same address as Sci Fi City, he continued to deny knowledge of any connection.  'I do not know,' he said when we asked why his name was associated with this company.  'I have to find out about that.'   He promised to call if he finds out.
