Bandai America has announced a championship tournament program for its Battle Spirits Trading Card Game.  Master Championship tournaments will be held at select hobby stores, and the NationalX-Championships at Gen Con.  

Master Championship Tournaments will be held at Universe of Superheroes in Athens, Ohio; Krier’s Cards and Comics in Modesto, California; All Things Fun in West Berlin, New Jersey; The Castle, in Tyler, Texas, and Planet Comics in Anderson, South Carolina.  First place winners will receive a $500 cash prize, second place winners a $250 cash price, and third and fourth place winners a $125 cash prize, all with Battle Spirits product.  Places fifth through 64th at each location will receive prizes of Battle Spirits product. 

The National X-Championships, to be held at Gen Con Indy in August, will award a $2000 cash prize to the winner, $1000 to the second place winner, $500 each to the 3rd and 4th place winners, and $250 each to the fifth through eighth place winners, all with Battle Spirits product.  Places 9 through 64 will win Battle Spirits product.
