The abstract strategy game Got’Em from Mayfair Games and Calliope Games will release in May 2011. It will be released under Mayfair’s Funfair mark. Meanwhile, the Martin Wallace game Automobile is shipping next week for a February 17 street date.
Got’Em offers two styles of play: Brainy Got’Em is an abstract strategy game where players place walls to trap their opponents. Bright Got’Em expands on the idea with random surprises and a more colorful playing board.
Got’Em features a double-sided game board, 84 wall pieces, and 55 game cards. The game is playable by 2 to 6 players. Recommended for ages 10 and up. It was designed by Zach Weisman and will be published in cooperation with Calliope Games. The suggested retail price will be $30.00. Got’Em is being manufactured in the U.S.
Mayfair also announced that they have “finally received” the Martin Wallace game Automobile. Mayfair will begin shipping the game this week. More information about Automobile can be found here: “‘Automobile’ Board Game.”
