Konami Digital Entertainment has announced its ambitious slate of releases for the YGO TCG from April through July. On April 19th Konami is releasing Hidden Arsenal 4: Trishula’s Triumph, a 60-card, all-foil set that includes 60 brand new monsters including the super-powered “Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier.” Hidden Arsenal 4 (MSRP $3.99) also contains ten Dragunity monsters including two Dragunity Synchro Monsters, which makes it a great match with the Structure Deck: Dragunity Legion.

May will be a very big month for YGO TCG fans. It all starts on May 10th with the release of the YGO: Extreme Victory booster set (MSRP $3.99). Extreme Victory takes Synchro Monsters to the ultimate level with the new T.G. (Tech Genius) monsters. It also contains Meklords, a vast army of Synchro-destroying machines. The Extreme Victory set also contains cards for many popular championship decks including Gladiator Beasts, Blackwings, Six Samurai, and more.

Also available in May are the Yugi and Slifer Card Sleeves (MSRP $3.99), which pair up Yugi with his first Egyptian God card Slifer the Sky Dragon. The final May release looks forward to the new Yu-Gi-Oh! animated series, which introduces an entirely new kind of monster. These monsters make their first appearance in the 2011 YGO TCG Starter Deck (MSRP $9.99), which serves a dual purpose showing new players how to play the game and current players how to use the new monster type, who won’t arrive in full force until the August YGO booster releases.

June gets off to a powerful start on the 6th with the release of Duelist Pack: Crow (MSRP $1.99), the first 5D’s Duelist pack to focus on a character other than Yusei Fudo. Blackwing decks have become increasingly popular and the Duelist Pack: Crow is the best way to jump on the bandwagon. The 30-card set features reprints of 25 of Crow’s most powerful Blackwing monsters, spells, and traps—plus it contains five brand new Blackwing cards.

There are two potent releases slated for July including Hidden Arsenal Special Edition (MSRP $9.99), which arrives on July 12th and gives players a chance at the first three Hidden Arsenal releases combined into one product. Each Hidden Arsenal Special Edition product will include one of two highly sought after Variant cards.

Two weeks later Duelists can go planetary when they pick up the Structure Deck: Lost Sanctuary (MSRP $9.99), which gives them control over the planets Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn, as well as the Sun itself. The 40-card, ready-to-play deck is perfect for those who know how to play but are looking for a springboard to build a deck of their own.
