Sony Pictures has acquired the motion picture rights to IDW’s Zombies vs. Robots, created by Chris Ryall and Ashley Wood. The film will be co-produced by IDW, Michael Bay’s Platinum Dunes, and Circle of Confusion. 

 

The series tells the story of an assortment of robots who protect the world’s last remaining human against the zombie hordes. There have been three Zombies vs. Robots miniseries to date: Zombies vs. Robots, Zombies vs. Robots: Aventure, and Zombies vs. Robots: Amazon. Two collections are available. A new series, Zombies vs. Robots: Undercity, launches in April.
