ACD Distribution has announced that ACD Games Day 2012 will be held from April 11th to the 13th in Madison, Wisconsin.  Traditionally the ACD Games Day event had been held in the fall, but the distributor feels that the event can be more useful to retailers if it is held in the spring.   However for some retailers, moving to a spot in the busier spring show schedule between GAMA and Origins could produce conflicts.

 

The three-day affair, which targets hobby game retailers, includes demo gaming, socializing with manufacturers and other gamers, educational seminars, and the chance to shop the ACD Distribution warehouse. 

 

Laura Steinhoff, ACD’s Marketing Manager, notes that “Our goal is to make ACD Games Day a value to retailers who have the ability to take time out of their busy schedules to attend.  We not only refund the registration deposit for each store’s first two attendees, but we also provide complimentary meals and one valuable retailer gift box.  Last year our retailer gift box was valued at over $1,300.”

 

Retailers can reserve a gift box, by registering for ACD Games Day 2012 before April 2nd, 2012.
