The UK-based publisher Twisted Comics will publish graphic novels based on existing storylines from the Netflix series Black Mirror, starting in mid-2025.  Neil Gibson, founder of Twisted Comics, told ICv2 that the comics will probably be distributed by Diamond, which currently distributes the company’s stock, and that once the book is finished, there will be a Kickstarter campaign for publicity and presales.  Gibson is writing the adaptation, but the art team has not been announced yet. Black Mirror #1 will be Twisted Comics’ Free Comic Book Day comic (see “Silver Sponsors”).

Gibson started the publisher as T Pub in 2012 and rebranded it as Twisted Comics in 2023.  Up till now, the company’s highest profile title was probably Twisted Dark, a psychological-horror graphic novel anthology series that launched in 2014.

Black Mirror is a British anthology series that explores the darker side of technology; Netflix will release the seventh season in 2025.  Other licensed properties from the show include a board game (see “Asmodee Releasing ‘Black Mirror: Nosedive’ Game”) and figures (see “Funko Reveals ‘Black Mirror’ Pop!
