USAopoly has revealed its new Monopoly: World of Warcraft edition (MSRP $39.95), which features custom graphics from Blizzard Entertainment’s world class artists in an exciting variant of the classic real estate game in which players discover new ways to fight over World of Warcraft’s iconic locations.  The WoW edition of Monopoly will be available in May with custom sculpted houses and hotels modeled after designs from the towns and cities in the World of Warcraft game.

 

Blizzard Entertainment’s graphic designers and artists provided the artwork for the Monopoly: World of Warcraft game board and also helped design the houses (based on WoW towns) and hotels (based on WoW cities) and tokens as well.  Key WoW venues such as Twilight Highlands, Swamps of Sorrow, and Grizzly Hills are all represented on the board as well as the faction capitals of Stormwind and Orgrimmar.

 

The six tokens used in the WoW: Monopoly game, which accommodates from 2-6 players), were chosen by WoW fans in a contest on the Warcraft Facebook page.  The tokens included in the game include Core Hound Pup, Murky, Doomhammer, Hearthstone, Mechagnome, and Flight Path Boot.  Other features of the game include specially colored red and blue dice representing the Horde and Alliance factions.
