NECA/WizKids has announced an agreement with the Valve Corporation that will result in the October launch of a line of WizKids Portal 2 Sentry Turret Collectible Figures.  Portal 2 is a first-person puzzle-platform video game that was released in April of 2011 and has sold four million units. In Portal 2, the Sentry Turrets are objects to avoid or destroy while maneuvering through the mind-bending puzzles at each level of the game, but these cute little 3-inch guys are perfect to stand guard over anyone’s prize possessions.

 

The Portal Sentry Turret Collectible Figures will include both open and closed versions of 10 unique design patterns including camouflage patterns, animal prints, and even a Hot-Rod motif.  Nine of the designs for the blind-boxed turret figures (each with the "open" and "closed" variants) have already been chosen, but fans will get to choose the tenth design via a contest on Valve Software’s Facebook page.
