Shout! Factory has announced the December 4th release of Kaijudo: Rise of the Duel Masters--Creatures Unleashed, the first DVD release from the revamped animated seris that debuted on Hasbro’s The Hub cable network in June (see "'Kaijudo: Rise of the Duel Masters' Cartoon Debut Set").  The cartoon series was soon followed by the release of a new version of the Duel Masters Trading Card Game from Wizards of the Coast (see "'Kaijudo: The Dojo Edition'"). 

 

The first Kaijudo: Rise of the Duel Masters DVD (MSRP $14.97) release includes the first five episodes of the new Duel Masters cartoon series, which also includes a fully playable, alternate art "Kenina" card as well as a special bonus video feature, "A Look at Kaijudo: Rise of the Duel Masters" that examines the breadth of the multi-media property that is receiving a major revival in the U.S. in 2012.
