The Gaia Online steampunk mini-game Frontier Skies will be converted to a board game version by Game Salute, working in cooperation with Gaia Interactive.  The release date has not yet been announced.

In Frontier Skies, players compete to build a steampunk airship, controlling their crew, supplies, and technology, hoping to become the wealthiest adventurer.  The themes, characters, and artwork of the board game are taken from the world of Gaia Online.

In a press release, Gaia Interactive’s Director of Sales & Business Development Christopher Castagnetto expressed his enthusiasm for the project, saying "We’re excited to bring the art, characters, and adventure of Gaia Online to our users through a fun and immersive experience where players get to experience an exciting adventure with their friends offline."
