Arcane Wonders has announced the August release of Mage Wars: Druid vs. Necromancer (MSRP $39.99), a two-mage expansion set for the Mage Wars, the customizable strategy game of dueling Mages (see "New Plans for 'Mage Wars'").  The Druid vs. Necromancer expansion emphasizes two schools of magic that were not highlighted in the core game release.  The new 2-mage expansion is very similar to the earlier Forcemaster vs. Warlord release (see "'Mage Wars: Forcemaster vs. Warlord Expansion'").
 
The Druid brings skill in Nature magic that makes her the undisputed master of plants, while the Necromancer has vast experience in the darkest of the black arts, including the ability to summon the undead.
 
Arcane Wonders’ Mage Wars game has been a solid performer with over 15,000 units sold (see "'Mage Wars' Sales Accerlerating").
