A poster for the second film based on The Hobbit, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, has been released.  The first trailer is due out this week. 

Promo pictures have started flowing (see "First Pic of Tauriel"), as the marketing machine kicks into gear.  The film opens December 13th.
