WizKids will release The Hobbit:  Journey to the Lonely Mountain Strategy Game, on October 30, the company announced.  The game will include five figures on SwitchClix bases, which can be used in the HeroClix PAC game.   

Designed by Eric M. Lang, the game will use characters, scenes, and events from The Hobbit:  An Unexpected Journey, the first film in the trilogy.  The company promises that the game is easy to learn, but has great depth of play for experienced gamers.  It features head-to-head play and also up to one versus three.

In addition to the five figures, the game also includes a game board, character tokens, and action cards. 

WizKids released its board game based on the first movie, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey--Journey to the Lonely Mountain Board Game, last fall (see "'The Hobbit:  An Unexpected Journey  Board Game'").
