Dragonball Z remains the most popular program in the Cartoon Network's Toonami block (see 'Toonami Ratings Soar')and near the top of Lycos Top 50 list of Internet searches (see 'Outlaw Star Makes the Lycos 50').  The DBZ CCG from Score is one of the most popular releases of the past year, but we should not forget about the DBZ roleplaying game from R. Talsorian.   Two major additions to the DBZ RPG are planned for 2001.  The first is The Frieza Saga, which is due out in April.  This expansion concentrates on the detailing all the players, powers, technology, and Super Saiyan abilities of the Frieza Saga.  In fact this volume really helps fans to understand the amazing powers that characters control when they are in the Super Saiyan mode.

 

In July R. Talsorian will add a second volume, DBZ: The Android Saga which includes episode guides, character background, inside information, new powers and new rules that cover the Garlic Jr., Trunks, and Android Sagas.  Like many RPG books, this volume provides lots of information that DBZ fans, even those who aren't gamers, would love to know.  The episode guides and explanation of the powers of the major characters are very useful when dealing with a complicated, action-packed series like DBZ, which includes more than 500 episodes.
