Walmart has attacked Toys R Us, Target, and Best Buy by matching their Black Friday price offers beginning last Friday, a week before Black Friday.  Among the promotional prices are Monopoly for $5.00 ($18.99 retail price) and Skylanders and Disney Infinity Starter Packs at $37.00 ($74.99 retail price).   

The battle for market share is going to be particularly ferocious this year, with a shorter season between Thanksgiving and Christmas and pressures on consumer spending making holiday results dicey at best.
