White Wizard Games has released both iOS and Android versions of Star Realms; they were funded by the original Kickstarter, as was the print version of the deck building game (see "'Star Realms' Deck Building Game"). The mobile games may add to the popularity of the property and the print game, but there’s little inventory available to meet any new demand.
The deck building game sold out almost immediately on release, and inventory has been in very short supply since. "Demand has gone through the roof on Star Realms, and we are scrambling to keep up," game co-creator Rob Dougherty told ICv2. A second printing will hit stores in late July or early August, but Doughterty said that shipment is already sold out to distribution (although retailers may still be able to order from distributors). "I fear this second printing won’t meet demand and we have already ordered a third printing," Dougherty said. The third printing is due in the U.S. in September.
