Alderac Entertainment Group will release Trains 2: Rising Sun, a stand-alone follow-up to the strategy board game Trains, in September.
 
Designed by Steve Ellis (Railways of the World: The Card Game), this follow-up to Hisashi Hayashi’s Japanese railway building game Trains incorporates new cards and strategies for players to build the best rail system in Japan.  The game includes three new boards, two of which are designed specifically for two-player games.  The game can be mixed with the original Trains game for more replay options.   The players compete to gain enough points from the railway networks they build to win the game.
 
The game comes with over 500 cards, dividers, a double-sided game board, 20 route markers, 84 wooden rail tokens, 30 wooden station tokens, a double-sided game board and rulebook.  The game is for 2 -4 players, ages 12 and up,  and plays in 45-60 minutes.  MSRP is $59.99.
