Guardians of Order has announced two limited editions of its first Game of Thrones RPG product--the Game of Thrones Role-Playing Game and Resource Book will be released in two editions in March. A Deluxe Limited Edition will be released through normal distribution channels at $99.95 MSRP. A signed and numbered edition of 500 will be primarily sold directly to consumers by Guardians of Order; it will be available in very limited quantities directly to retailers only from the company. The signed and numbered edition will be signed by the creator of A Song of Ice & Fire, George R. R. Martin.
The Game of Thrones Role-Playing Game and Resource Book will contain over 450 pages of color art, and detailed analysis of the setting, plot, characters and culture of the fiction series. It will feature a foil-embossed leatherette cover and dust jacket with art by Mike S. Miller, who did the Hedge Knight graphic novel. It will include RPGs using both the d20 and Guardians of Order house Tri-Stat systems. And as bonus items, purchasers will also receive a Game Master's Screen and an introductory adventure.
The company estimates that the Deluxe Limited Edition, which will be printed to order, will probably be printed in a quantity of around 1000 copies.
