The Sci Fi Channel has announced that it is developing a TV series based on Wizards of the Coast's Urban Arcana, the first campaign setting for the d20 Modern RPG.  The Sci Fi Channel series follows the adventures of detective Sean Mayhew who has to protect mankind from an invasion of chameleon-like creatures from a parallel world.  Fox Television is producing the new series, which will be written by Aron Coleite (Crossing Jordan) and produced by Gary Randall and Rockne O'Bannon (Farscape).

WotC published the 320-page hardcover Urban Arcana Sourcebook for d20 Modern ($39.95) in 2003, targeting gamers who wanted to experience fantasy and adventure role-playing in a contemporary setting.
