Decipher has announced that it will be releasing additional products for its Lord of the Rings Role-Playing Game starting with the Helm's Deep Sourcebook in June.  Decipher, which won the '2003 Origins Award for Best New Role-playing Game' for the LOTR RPG Core Book, cut back its RPG unit in January (see 'Decipher Downsizes') in response to a challenging market, but the company has decided to continue with its flagship RPG.

Scott Gaeta, Sr. VP of Decipher's Creative Studio noted, 'Changes in our internal workings, as well as changes in the current RPG market caused us to delay and re-evaluate several products that had been scheduled for a 2004 release, but our role-playing customers let us know they wished the line to continue, and we're happy to announce that it will.'

After the release of the Helms Deep Sourcebook in June Decipher plans to publish a new LOTR RPG release every eight weeks.
