Ignition Press has announced new additions to its management team from Skybound and DC Comics.
Scott Newman has joined Ignition as Art Director. In his new role he will oversee the company’s graphic design and all other elements of the company’s visual brand.
Newman has previously held design and art director roles at BOOM! Studios, Tapas Media, and most recently, Skybound Entertainment; and worked on numerous publications, including The Art of Invincible Season One, Peanuts: A Tribute to Charles M. Schulz, and Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
In his prior freelance work for Ignition, Newman designed the Ignition Press logo, promotional assets, and trade dress.
Joe Campagna, Ignition's new Print Manager, will build and oversee production and prepress workflows and supply chain, and manage relationships with manufacturers. He spent nearly 15 years at DC, where he was Production Manager and Director of New and Repurposed Material.
Ignition announced its launch plans and other management hires at ComicsPRO Annual Meeting earlier this year (see "Ignition Reveals").
