Fantasy Flight Games has announced that sales on its Call of Cthulhu CCG are necessitating changes in its support for the game.  '[T]he Call of Cthulhu CCG has not developed the critical mass necessary to sustain our current level of support for the game,' the announcement said. 

FFG will no longer produce new expansions with booster packs, but will instead print new cards for the game in a 'fixed format'-- starter-style decks with all new content.  The company promises that the new Asylum Decks 'will be released regularly.'

FFG plans to continue sanctioned local play, and National and World Championships, with prize support and trophies as in the past.
