Hidden City is now making the Bella Sara Trading Card Game available to the hobby, direct at first (during the rest of 2006) and then through distributors in 2007 when Hidden City ramps up for full production.

In a letter to ICv2 Peter Adkison (see 'Peter Adkisson on Bella Sara'), CEO of Hidden City Games, addressed concerns from hobby retailers (see 'Pat Fuge of Gnome Games on Bella Sara') who objected to the mass market-only launch of the game, which is designed for girls from 5-12.  He invited hobby-games retailers who pride themselves 'on having a store that's welcoming to young girls and mothers,' and are willing to give up weekly sell-through data to order direct from the company durng the initial test period.

Hidden City Games is intent on closely monitoring sales of the equine-centric Bella Sara Trading Card Game, which is currently being test-marketed in a number of mass market venues (see 'Bella Sara CCG Goes Mass Market'), so hobby retailers who want to order the game direct would have to provide Hidden City Games with weekly sales updates.
