The chart includes three non-manga titles, Volume 6 of Solo Leveling, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin, and Bea Wolf (a middle grade title tagged as adult). Even among the manga, there’s more variety than usual, with titles from four different publishers. Compare that to two months prior, when all 20 titles were manga, 19 were from VIZ Media, and 12 were by Chainsaw Man creator Tatsuki Fujimoto (see "January 2023").
One series from Kodansha Comics looks like it is picking up momentum: Blue Lock, with two volumes on the chart, Volume 1 and Volume 5. The first volume was released in June 2021 but started showing up in the Top 20 in December and has charted ever since; Volume 5, released in February 2023, didn’t chart in February but is in 12th place in March. That pattern of the first volume and the most recent one both making the top 20 is a promising one for a new series.
Also worth noting: The Adventure Zone: The Eleventh Hour, which was the number 2 seller in February 2023, did not make the Top 20 in the book channel in March, although it did make the ComicHub chart (see "Top 20 Graphic Novels – March 2023").
