The chart included six volumes plus a boxed set of Scott Cawthon’s Five Nights at Freddy’s graphic novels, based on the author’s horror-themed video games. While the books frequently make the Top 20 (see "Top Graphic Novel Franchises – Summer 2023"), this is the first time that this many have appeared on the chart at once, driven by the release of the movie on October 27 (see "’Five Nights at Freddy’s’ Trailer").
There are seven Dog Man titles on the chart as well, including the top seller for the month, but Dav Pilkey wins the month with one additional title, Cat Kid Comic Club Vol. 4.
John Patrick Green’s Investigators: All Tied Up, the seventh volume of the goofy secret agent series, makes the chart for the third month in a row, as does the third volume of Míriam Bonastre Tur’s Hooky.
Debuting on the November chart are the first volume of Keeper of the Lost Cities: The Graphic Novel (see "Best-Selling Middle-Grade Fantasy Series Being Adapted to Graphic Novels") and the 12th volume of Nathan Hale’s accurate-but-hilarious Nathan Hale’s Hazardous Tales series.
