SGU 1.0, the first DVD and Blu-ray Disc releases from the latest incarnation of the Stargate franchise, will be released on February 9th.  The release date plants the discs squarely in the middle of Stargate Universe’s mid-first-season hiatus (see “SGU Renewed”). 

The three-disc DVD set ($49.98) and two-disc BD set ($69.98) will contain the first ten episodes of the series, an extended pilot, cast and crew commentary, and more.  BD-only extras will include directors minutes, behind-the scenes featurettes, and star map log segments of SGU’s new look.
