This classic film has earned its place in the hearts of consumers, as evidenced by its consistently high sales figures.  In 2002 alone, this 26-year old movie sold over 500,000 copies in a three-month period!  This winter, Sony will be releasing a new Monty Python and the Holy Grail DVD, which will include extra supplemental material in the booklet and feature new packaging!  There will be an ad in an upcoming issue of Rolling Stone Magazine, which will have details on a Monty Python and The Holy Grail contest, where fans can win prizes from Diamond!  This latest collectible figure series, which depicts some of the most popular characters from the movie, is sure to garner the interest of fans on both side of the Pacific Ocean!
 
The Monty Python and The Holy Grail Series 1 Action Figures features the popular characters of King Arthur (played by Graham Chapman), Sir Bedevere (played by Terry Jones), and Sir Robin the Brave (played by Edic Idle).  The figure sculpts of these characters are dead-on likenesses.  Each 7' tall figure features three different phrases of
movie dialogue coming from the sound chip in each Grail base.  Also, each figure includes accessories modeled after objects used by the characters in the movie, including a sword and shield emblazoned with the crest of the respective character.

Scheduled to ship in November 2003; each figure has a suggested retail price of $12.99.
