Variety is reporting that Nicktoons will begin airing the original Ren & Stimpy episodes in August. The show, which began airing on Nickelodeon in 1991, is being released in edited form on DVD; the final volume, The Ren and Stimpy Show, Season Five and Some, will be released in September. So there's still room for the definitive (uncut) collector's edition. No word on whether the Nicktoons airings will be the original or cut versions.
All of the episodes are out on DVD, and Palisades has done one series of action figures and is releasing a series of micro-busts (see 'Palisades Gets Animated').
