Geneon Entertainment has awarded a non-exclusive miniature figure license for Samurai Champloo to Yamato USA.  Yamato will display prototypes of the Samurai Champloo Miniature Trading Figure Twin Packs at the San Diego Comic-Con International held later this week.  Each twin pack will consist of one 4-inch scale miniature trading figure and one figural bust magnet.  The twin packs will retail for $11.99.  Yamato is currently accepting pre-orders through its distribution partners for the Samurai Champloo Miniature Trading Figure Twin Packs, which are scheduled for a winter release.

Created by Shinichiro Watanabe, the driving force behind Cowboy Bebop (the most successful anime TV series in the history of the American marketplace), Samurai Champloo is featured on the Cartoon Network's Adult Swim block and has already become a Top Ten Anime Property according to the latest edition of Icv2's Retailers Guide to Anime/Manga.
