Palisades has released images of its special limited 35th anniversary action figure set, featuring Captain Kirk and, for the first time, Gene Roddenberry.  Although a general description of the figures was released when the announcement was made (see 'Palisades Gets Star Trek License'), this is the first opportunity for retailers to see what they'll be ordering. 

 

Some other details of the release have also been announced.  In addition to numbering each of the edition of 35,000 on the box, the same sequential number will also appear on the bottom of the Kirk and Roddenberry figures in each set.  Kirk will come with a phaser and a communicator.  The product is expected to ship to retailers just after Thanksgiving, allowing them to sell it through much of the holiday shopping season.  MSRP is $24.99 for the set.
