SOTA Toys has announced the March release of a giant 21-inch Lord of Darkness Figure (MSRP $75) from the cult fantasy film Legend, directed by Ridley (Bladerunner) Scott in 1985.  Although never a success at the box office (in spite of Tom Cruise in his first 'serious' role), Legend has developed a cult following and this giant talking figure of the devil should have considerable appeal to those who consider this film a fantasy classic.

The Lord of Darkness Figure, which has shoulders that are 9-inches wide, can laugh diabolically and will intone four key lines of dialogue from the film including: 'We are all animals my lady;' 'I am the Lord of Darkness;' 'Every Wolf suffers fleas...it is easy enough to scratch;' and 'What have we here...a little boy?'
