Organic Hobby, Inc. of Los Angeles, California is handling the U.S. release of Kaiyodo's new line of highly pose-able Revoltech figures. The six-inch figures, all of which have a suggested retail price of $22.00, have fourteen points of articulation and an innovative joint system, which allows them to assume any kind of dynamic or realistic pose. The first five robot figures in the new Kaiyodo Revoltech series are due out in May and June.
The first release will be Shin Getter I, which is based on the original Japanese anime series, Getter Robo (aka Shin Getter Robo). Also shipping in May are the Dougram robot, based on the classic 1980s TV anime series Fang of the Sun Dougram, and Dante, the robot figure from the Devil May Cry video game.
In June Organic Hobby will release two classic EVA mechas from the 1990s anime classic Neon Genesis Evangelion (currently showing on Thursday nights on the Cartoon Network's Adult Swim), the EVA 00 (Zerogouki) piloted by Rei Ayanami, and the EVA 01 (Shogouki) piloted by Shinji Ikari.
