Bandai Entertainment has announced two new anime series for launch in 2007--My-Otome and Tide-Line Blue.

My-Otome, the Sunrise sequel to My-Hime, will be launched in June with the first of seven volumes collecting the 26 episodes of the series.  My-Otome is written by Hiroyuki Yoshino, who did Gundam Seed Destiny, with music by Yuki Kajiura, who did music for .Hack//SIGN and Gundam Seed.  This sequel series puts the My-Hime characters in a new world, in which Arika Yumemiya must accept her destiny in a feudalistic world and follow in her mother's footsteps of becoming an Otome.

Tide-Line Blue, a 13-episode series by Satoru Ozawa (Blue Submarine No. 6), will launch this summer.  Character designs are by Aikihiko Yamashiata (Giant Robo, Gin Rei, Princess Nine).  The story takes place in a future in which an apocalyptic disaster floods 90% of the earth's surface, and mankind is forced to rebuild the world.
