Media Blasters has confirmed to ICv2 that the release of Voltron Collection 3: Green Lion has been delayed from February 27th to May 8th.  The 1980s Voltron: Defender of the Universe cartoon series was based on two anime series, Hundred Beast King GoLion and Armored Fleet Dairugger XV. When Media Blasters released the first in its series of Voltron box sets in September, it quickly became one of the fastest selling DVDs in the company's history (see 'Voltron Blows Away Invader Zim') and Voltron ranked as the #10 anime property of 2006 in ICv2's recently released Anime/Manga Guide (see 'Manga Releases Up 16% in 2007').

Media Blasters' second Voltron release was delayed because of problems with the distinctive tin packaging (see 'Voltron Collection 2 Delayed').  Mike Loney of Media Blasters told ICv2 that the date for the release of Voltron Collection 3: Green Lion was also changed in order to make sure that Media Blasters would have sufficient quantities to be able meet demands for product from all channels on the street date.

Later this year Media Blasters plans to release uncut, subtitled editions of Hundred Beast King GoLion and Armored Fleet Dairugger XV, the two anime series that made up Volton.
