Viz Media has announced the North American release of the 2005 film, Linda Linda Linda on DVD on May 8th.  Linda Linda Linda is directed by Nobuhiro Yamashita and follows the struggles of an all-girl high school rock band. The film has been shown at more than 40 international film festivals and was recently screened in major markets across the U.S. 

The soundtrack features music by former Smashing Pumpkins guitarist James Iha, the Japanese punk band The Blue Hearts, and a musical cameo from The Ramones.
