J.J. Abrams' upcoming Star Trek film has cast another role; Zoe Saldana will play Uhura. Saldana is also cast in James Cameron's Avatar (see 'It's Avatar'). Only a few other roles have been cast to date (see 'More Casting News for Next Trek Film'). The storyline for the Abrams flick will feature the crew's early days at Starfleet Academy.
