Jerry Seinfeld's Bee Movie dropped only 31.6% in its second weekend earning an estimated $26 million and turning the tables on last week's winner, American Gangster, which dropped 44% as it earned an estimated $24.3 million.  After last weekend's strong showing (see 'Star-Powered 'Gangster' Whacks B Movie'), the total box office of the top 10 films slipped badly -- the first time in five years that a the top ten films didn't gross over $100 million on a November weekend.

The weak session allowed October's two big horror films remain in the top ten. Saw IV declined 51.6% in its third weekend, but still added an estimated $5 million, while 30 Days of Night dropped 43.9%, earning $2.1 million and bringing its cumulative to $37.3 million after four weekends.

Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas in 3-D fell out of the top ten, but still earned nearly a million dollars.  The digital 3-D reissue should earn at least $15 million -- not bad considering the digital presentation means that the studio did not have the cost of striking new prints.
