Shout! Factory has announced that it has obtained the world home entertainment and download rights to Mystery Science Theater 3000, the cult hit (see 'TV Guide's List of Cult TV Shows') which ran for nearly 200 episodes in the 80s and 90s on Comedy Central and the Sci Fi Channel. A Shout! Spokesperson told ICv2 that the company plans to make use of the 'vast library of original episodes that have never been available on DVD or for digital download.'
