The Tale of Despereaux, the animated movie based on Kate diCamillo Newberry Award-winning children’s book, will open December 19th, but Upper Deck’s The Tale of Despereaux Trading Cards, one of the few opportunities for retailers to capitalize on this film, will street November 18th.
Autograph cards will feature signatures from six voice actors: Matthew Broderick, Tony Hall, Frances Conroy, Daniel Riordan, McNally Sagal, and Patricia Cullen.
The 50 sticker card set will include concept sketches, movie images, multi-card puzzles, and 20 character cards with three stickers per card.
Other than the children’s book and the Upper Deck cards, the only other merchandise we could find was a videogame.
