The movie based on the yet-to-be-published Oni graphic novel Billy Smoke is moving ahead with a director, Jeffrey Nachmanoff, according to the Hollywood Reporter.  Nachmanoff previously directed Traitor, released last year, and also has some writing credits, including Day after Tomorrow. 

Matthew Fox is attached to star (see “Another Oni Title Optioned”). 

The graphic novel is by B. Clay Moore and Eric Kim.
