Bandai Entertainment has created a website for its Meltylancers anime series, www.meltylancer.com. The first DVD in the series, Meltylancer -- Alpha is due out next week. Produced by Studio Gonzo (Blue Submarine #6, Vandread, Hellsing), Meltylancer is based on one of the most popular Playstation games in Japan. Six ultra-cute members of the GPO (Galaxy Police Organization) are pitted against an alien criminal menace. Meltylancer -- Alpha features a collector's foil cover, textless openings and endings, a mechanical manual, and a Meltylancer glossary. The 90-minute DVD includes both English and Japanese soundtracks (with English titles) and has a MSRP of $29.98. The second volume in the series, Meltylancer -- Omega is due out in March. MORE MANGA
