Warner Brothers has acquired the rights to produce a film version of Robert Heinlein's 1958 science fiction novel Have Space Suit -- Will Travel. David Heyman, one of the many producers on the mega-popular Harry Potter films, is set to shepherd Heinlein's classic novel to the screen. Have Space Suit--Will Travel is one of a number of rousing, straight ahead, science fiction yarns that Heinlein wrote primarily for younger (adolescent) readers, but which were avidly devoured by fans of all ages. So far no writers or directors have been attached to the project, which means it is still a long way from the screen.
