ABC has released a new action-packed clip from Joss Whedon’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., which debuts on September 24th and it appears that the team is going to be dealing with some bizarre Whedonesque threats.  This trailer for the S.H.I.E.L.D. pilot first appeared on the show’s Facebook page.
 
There’s a fair amount of new footage in the one-minute trailer, which also defines the mission of the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, who are “the line between the world and a much weirder world.”  As the debut of the new series approaches, ABC has been releasing a number of clips (see "Maria Hill in New 'S.H.I.E.L.D.' Clip"), but few seem to capture the essence of the show as well as this one.
