Chris Wedge, the chief creator behind the smash CGI animated feature Ice Age, is taking a major leap in time for his next film, Robots, which will tell a very human tale set in a future world where robots are the key to helping mankind. Produced by Wedge's Blue Sky Studio, Robots will be released by Twentieth Century Fox and feature top Hollywood vocal talent including: Halle Berry, Ewan McGregor, Drew Carey, Mel Brooks, Stanley Tucci, Amanda Bynes and D.L. Hughley, to name just some members of the stellar cast. Although Robots won't be out until March of 2005, the success of Ice Age means that moviegoers can be assured that this film, which is in production now, will be made.
