Producer J.R. Ralls has created a lively and extremely humorous live action parody of Jack Chick’s hysterical attack on Dungeons & Dragons. Chick, a comic book artist, who was born in 1924, was a narrow-minded fundamentalist who attacked Roman Catholics, Muslims, Freemasons, Evolution, Harry Potter, and RPGs, in his publications that were widely distributed in fundamentalist circles (over 750 million of his tracts, comics, videos, and posters were produced according to Chick Publications).
Chick, who is now 90 years old, also took on D&D and other RPGs, though he had only the vaguest ideas of how the games were actually played. In his film, which is available to download for $5, Ralls dramatizes Dark Dungeons, Chick’s classically stupid attack on D&D, which can be found seen in its entirety on the Chick Publications Website.
