We round up casting stories for comic-based TV shows this week, with Gotham casting villain Two-Face, and two roles cast for Agent Carter.
Fox’s Gotham (see "'Gotham' Premiere Nets Eight Million") has cast Nicholas D’Agosto as Harvey Dent, who will eventually become the villain Two-Face, The Wrap is reporting. D’Agosto played Dr. Ethan Haas on Showtime’s Masters of Sex, and played West Rosen on Heroes. The recurring guest role has the possibility of being upped to series regular if the show is renewed for a second season.
Marvel announced that Dominic Cooper will be joining the ABC mid-season drama Agent Carter (see "Superhero TV Round-Up"), The Hollywood Reporter reported. Cooper will be reprising his role of Howard Stark from Captain America: The First Avenger. Cooper also played a cameo role in the Agent Carter one-shot included in the Iron Man 3 DVD (see "An 'Agent Carter' TV Series From Marvel?").
Another Agent Carter casting announcement came from Deadline last week, with Shea Whigham, who plays Elias ‘Eli’ Thompson on HBO’s Boardwalk Empire announced as SSR Chief Roger Dooley. Dooley is the man in charge of overseeing agents Carter, Thompson, and Sousa at the covert Strategic Scientific Reserve agency.
