Little Lulu creator Marjorie "Marge" Henderson Buell and Katy Keene creator Bill Woggon have been chosen by this year’s Eisner Award judges to join the Eisner Awards Hall of Fame. The Judges also nominated thirteen other individuals for the Hall, four of whom will be chosen, based on the votes of industry professionals. The quartet of new Hall of Fame inductees will be announced at the San Diego Comic-Con.
The individuals nominated for this key honor this year include (in alphabetical order): Lynda Barry, John Byrne, Chris Claremont, Howard Cruse, Kim Deitch, Matt Groening, Denis Kitchen, Frank Miller, Francoise Mouly, Paul S. Newman, Lily Renee Peters Phillips, Bob Powell, and Frank Robbins. The deadline for voting for industry professionals is March 31st, 2015.
